2024 Scholarship Applications will open In March 2024

The scholarship program is focused on Golden High School students and has been ongoing for many years. The scholarship started as a memorial to Den Galbraith who graduated "Mines" in 1949 with a degree in geological engineering and subsequently had a huge impact on the community of Golden. Recent scholarship recipients attend Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State University, and Red Rocks Community College.

Scholarships are open to all qualifying Golden High School (Golden, Colorado) seniors.

-  one 4 year scholarship offered to Colorado School of Mines ($2000/yr) - Galbraith Scholarship - cosponsored with Circle K International

- one 1 year scholarship offered to any Science student attending an accredited

Colorado university ($1000) - Papenfus Scholarship

- one 1 year scholarship to a student attending an accredited Colorado Medical Assistant College ($1000)
